Located in the heart of Antwerp’s Waalsekaai district, Mich is a real find. The décor has a comfortable, contemporary feel, with simple hues and brown leathers, and frescoes that are teasingly colonial. It works, the place is airy and relaxing.
Only just recently opened, Michel Bosiers’ wonderful restaurant specializes in excellent red meat - but only the best meat, meat with flavour. We all know that every restaurant in the country serves up meat but it’s rare to find the real thing. He concentrates on beef, calf, lamb and horse. Let yourself be cradled by the delicate and considerate service, try the vitello tonato, the ham on the bone, snails from Bourgogne, Irish entrecote in parsley, the bavette Robespierre or a horse filet.
We love cooks whose keep it simple, creating dishes without embellishment and infinitely tasty.
