Lucana

La storia commincia...
Lucana, a name that has its roots in the forenames chosen by Gianni Caruso’s wife, Isabelle, for their children. Roots, children, family, unavoidable values for a Sicilian. As a child Gianni spent happy, unforgettable holidays with his grandfather in a little village, close to Palermo.
And that’s where Gianni discovered the richness of produce that is cultivated out of necessity, made extraordinary by the soil it came from and pleasing to all thanks to its simplicity.
There is an art in cultivating a sense of family, of respect, a set of values, a tradition handed down to him from his parents who had always been restaurateurs. For Gianni’s all this appeared obvious, a road marked out for him, the family road…
He tries to transmit this to his children because these values are part of his life, a life whose main themes are reflected in Lucana.
Giannia is back at the stove to defend values based on good produce and beautiful aromas, showing off Italian cuisine at its best.
