It’s a peculiar, almost comical name, ‘Orphyse Chaussette’. There is a part-explanation – Orphyse was the name of one of patron Philipe Renoux’s ancestors but, as for the ‘chaussette’ (socks), you’ll have to ask him yourself when you first visit his beautiful restaurant!
